Participate as a Citizen Scientist in the Study of Frogs

CROAKING MONSOON-2020: A CITIZEN SCIENCE APPROACH TO MAP DISTRIBUTION OF FROGS IN NEPAL

Croaking Monsoon is the signature program of Environment Protection and Study Center (ENPROSC) organized in collaboration with Wildlife Conservation Nepal (WCN), Companions for Amphibians and Reptiles of Nepal (CARON) . In this we use citizen science approach to study the frogs. Normally, the program was initiated with start of Indian Monsoon every year. But, this year, probably due to continuous rain in pre-monsoon, frogs have been seen to come out early from hibernation making some croak elsewhere. Thus, we would like to invite you to participate in the survey. We are in the critical phase, and we are on Lockdown. You can make submission by clicking frogs on your backyards. Let’s contribute on the study of less charismatic species. Click below to open link for submission. We would also request participants to refer to the guidelines to make offline submissions!
